Warranty Terms
Antminer Repair warranty terms cover every hashboard, control board, and power supply repaired in our USA-based lab, as well as used boards purchased from us. This page explains what is covered, for how long, what voids coverage, and how to file a claim.
Standard 30-Day Warranty
Every repair we perform is covered by a 30-day warranty on the entire board, not only on the section we worked on. If the board fails within the warranty period for any reason not listed under exclusions below, we repair it again at no charge for parts or labor.
The warranty period starts on the day you receive the board, confirmed by carrier tracking — not on the day we ship it. Delivery delays do not eat into your coverage.
What the Warranty Covers
- The repaired hashboard, control board, or PSU as a whole unit
- All components we replaced or reworked, including but not limited to ASIC chips, LDOs, capacitors, connectors, and EEPROM
- Any additional units installed by us as part of the order — power supplies, control boards, and cabling
- Used hashboards purchased from us, under the same terms and the same 30-day period
- Failures that appear under normal mining load within the warranty period
Components that arrived as part of the board and were not serviced are covered as part of the board for the duration of the warranty period.
Custom firmware is not a problem — we install and support it ourselves. Running third-party or optimized firmware does not affect your warranty.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
| Not covered | Why |
|---|---|
| Third-party intervention | Any repair, rework, or component swap performed by anyone else after our service voids the warranty immediately. Rework is visible on inspection — solder profile, flux residue, and tooling marks do not lie. |
| Water and moisture damage | Immersion, condensation, leaking hydro loops, and humid site conditions are outside our control. |
| Corrosion | Corrosion develops from site conditions after the board leaves our lab. |
| Mechanical damage | Bent boards, cracked PCBs, broken connectors, and torn heatsinks. See the inspection rule below. |
| Power events and incorrect connection | Voltage surges, unstable site power, a failing power supply on the customer side, and incorrect wiring damage boards in ways no repair warranty can absorb. |
Inspect your shipment on arrival
Mechanical and shipping damage must be reported within one (1) calendar day of delivery. Photograph the packaging and the board before installing it. Claims for physical damage submitted after that window cannot be accepted, because there is no way to establish whether the damage occurred in transit or on site.
Extended 3-Month Warranty with PCB Protection
PCB Protection is a paid upgrade available at the time of repair. It includes:
- Full board cleaning
- Conformal coating applied to the most vulnerable areas of the PCB, protecting against dust, dirt, and humidity
- Three-month warranty from the day you receive the board, replacing the standard 30-day term
Because the coating exists specifically to keep moisture and contamination out, moisture- and corrosion-related failures of the coated areas are covered for the full three-month term. Third-party intervention, mechanical damage, and power events remain excluded.
Current pricing is listed on the Extended Warranty + Moisture & Dust Protection page.
$100 Loyalty Discount
If the same board needs service again within 3 months after the warranty period ends, you receive $100 off the standard repair price listed on our website. The discount applies automatically — no code, no registration.
The discount stacks with other current offers and applies to the same range of work the warranty covers. It follows the standard 30-day warranty and, if you purchased PCB Protection, the 3-month extended warranty as well.
How to File a Warranty Claim
What matters is that you register the claim inside the warranty period. The channel is up to you — email, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, or our contact page. The date of your first message is the date of the claim.
Include:
- Your original order number
- Miner model and board serial number
- The exact kernel log error
- Photos of the board, front and back
You do not need a return authorization number. Write your original order number on the shipping label and inside the package so we can match it to your repair history.
Turnaround
Warranty repairs are handled out of queue, ahead of standard orders. Actual time depends on the fault and parts availability — we confirm the estimate once the board is on the bench.
Shipping
Shipping costs in both directions are covered by the customer. The warranty covers parts and labor.
If the board cannot be repaired again
If a warranty repair is not technically possible, we issue credit toward future services in the amount paid for the original repair.
Transferability
The warranty follows the hardware, not the buyer. If you sell the board or the complete miner, the remaining coverage transfers with it — the new owner needs the original order number to file a claim.
ASIC chips are not sold as standalone parts. Chip replacement is performed as part of a repair order and is covered accordingly.
Repair Documentation
Our diagnostic methods, rework procedures, and protective compounds are proprietary, and we do not publish a component-level breakdown of the work performed. What you can receive on request is verification that the board works: before-and-after test results, including ASIC chip count, hashrate under load, and temperature readings from our test stand.
Ask for it before you place the order. We need to know in advance so the technician records the full state of the board before and after the job. Once the board has been repaired and shipped back, the “before” data no longer exists and the report cannot be reconstructed.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the amount paid for the repair of the affected unit. We are not liable for lost mining revenue, downtime, pool fees, hosting costs, or any other indirect or consequential losses resulting from a failed board or the time required to repair it.
Applies to All Models We Service
These terms apply to every model we repair, including Antminer S19 / S19j Pro / S19 Pro / S19 XP, S21 / S21 Hydro / S21 XP, L7, L9, KA3, K7, KS-series, Z15, HS3, Whatsminer, Avalon, IceRiver, ElphaPex, and Goldshell equipment. See our repair services for the full list.
