neul0712-asic-chip-ibelink-bm-s3
NEUL0712 Chip Replacement for iBeLink BM-S3 and BM-S3+ Hashboards

NEUL0712 chip replacement is a per-chip add-on to our iBeLink BM-S3 and BM-S3+ hashboard repair. We keep this ASIC in stock in the USA, so a chip-level repair on either machine does not wait for parts from overseas. The chip is not sold separately: it is fitted at component level, and the board is proved afterwards in your own miner.

The NEUL0712 is the Blake2B (Siacoin) ASIC made for iBeLink by Neulinker. It is the chip on every BM-S3 board — 96 of them — and the miner reports the same chip type on the BM-S3+ board. No distributor lists it and iBeLink publishes no datasheet, so the marking on the package is the only name the part has, and until now its only sources were a minimum order of twenty from an overseas parts house or a repair ticket with the factory in Hong Kong. Having the part on the shelf is what turns a chip failure on these machines from a weeks-long wait into an ordinary repair.

How this add-on works

When diagnostics on your board come down to a failed NEUL0712, the chip is replaced at component level, and this line covers the part and the work of fitting it — one add-on per chip replaced. It attaches to the iBeLink BM-S3 hashboard repair service, which carries a BM-S3+ option for the Plus, and cannot be ordered on its own. A chip in an envelope does not fix a board, and on these machines a repaired board can only be proved in a running miner of the same model, which is why the complete miner comes in with the board.

What the part is

<colgroup>
<col style="width:32%">
<col style="width:68%">
</colgroup>

Specification

Details

Package marking

NEUL0712
, with a lot and date code on the second line that differs from batch to batch

Made by

Neulinker, for iBeLink. A healthy BM-S3 board reports 96 chips and a full
Active
map; a board with one failed NEUL0712 usually reports 93, because the map works in groups of three and drops the whole group the chip belongs to. The BM-S3+ carries more chips per board, but the same rule applies: the count falls in threes, and which of the three actually failed is found on the bench in the per-chip view, not from the count. The full picture of what the miner reports, and what each line of its log means, is on the iBeLink BM-S3 hashboard repair page.

Before you assume it is a chip

A count that has fallen by exactly three usually is. A board reporting 0 or 12 chips, a miner that restarts itself every ten minutes, or a machine that stops on temperature while the board reads cool is very often not a chip at all, and those cases are worked out on the bench before any part is fitted — the repair page explains what each of them looks like. Twelve empty pads on a BM-S3 board are normal and are not missing chips. And iBeLink uses several Neulinker parts across its models: a board carrying a different marking,
NEUL0912
for instance, belongs to another machine and is not covered by this stock.

All repairs are performed personally by Alex, who has been servicing ASIC miners since 2019. See credentials →

Contact our repair team today and get your miner back to full power.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0788/4917/9921/files/ibelink-bm-s3-neul0712-asic-chip-marking_079f0589-b7df-44f2-b855-bcb41bfae57e.webp?v=1790569071
